Norberto Gaona
Norberto has been installing floors for more than twenty years. He began as an installer working for other companies, learned every material on the market, and eventually arrived where most good tradesmen do — wanting responsibility for the whole project rather than one piece of it.
New Impressions Construction came out of that. He opened the company so he could stand behind the entire project — the subfloor under the plank, the trim against the wall, the finish of the room the floor sits in.
It’s a family business in the most literal sense — his sons work alongside him. When you call, you’re speaking with the person who will be in your home, and if something ever needs putting right, there’s no chain of command standing in the way.

Licensed, bonded and insured
Oregon CCB #232769, in good standing. You can look us up on the Construction Contractors Board site before you hire us — we would rather you did.
Written scope, itemised price
Every quote lists materials and labour separately and states plainly what is excluded. Any change is written down and priced before the work happens, never after.
Permits and inspections handled
If your project requires a permit, we pull it and meet the inspector ourselves. Unpermitted work becomes a problem at resale, and that isn’t something we’re willing to leave behind.

Something settles, a board cups, a grout line cracks — call us. Being fifteen minutes away is the entire reason we stay a local company.

Where we work
We’re based in Tigard and take on work across the Portland metro. Keeping our radius tight is intentional: a warranty call becomes a short drive rather than a scheduling problem, and the neighbours who see our truck are often the people who call us next.
